Stop wetting the bed

Is your child suffering from enuresis and you feel like you have tried everything to help them to stop wetting the bed?

Bed wetting in children is a common problem but is not widely discussed and therefor not well understood.  It is an issue that both the child and the whole family will struggle with.

The impact on the child is:

  • Emotional damage from feeling embarrassed
  • Alienation from their friends because they are the only one with this problem
  • Feeling tired during the day from not having restful sleep
  • Teasing from siblings and other children in the school yard

The impact on the family is:

  • Stress from having to continually wash and dry bedding
  • Frustration from knowing that your child is struggling and that you can’t help them
  • Financial costs in the order of $1000 per year in detergents, washing costs and replacing bedding and damaged mattresses

If bed wetting continues for years it can cause psychological damage and behavioural problems from the child feeling pressure or shamed and sometimes even punished for a condition that they cannot control.
